TRAIN announces that the IV call in the postdoc programme for internationalisation,
with support from the Marie Curie COFUND action,
is opened (deadline March, 31st 2013)
TRAIN “Training through Research Application Italian iNitiative” is an international mobility scheme for outgoing, incoming and re-integration . The aim of TRAIN is to improve translational skills in the field of oncology.
It is addressed to post-docturate scientists or scientists with at least four years of FTE research experience who wish to improve their training by spending two years abroad. Part of the scheme targets experienced Italian scientists who have completed at least three years of research in a third country and who are interested in returning to Italy. The mobility scheme is also open to experienced non-Italian (not-residing in Italy) scientists wishing to spend two years in Italy. Therefore, the TRAIN mobility scheme is open to the whole scientific community.
The objective of the programme is to develop competence and, at the same time, to promote international research mobility and cross-border research collaboration.
TRAIN mobility program is also an extension of the broad range of grants open to researchers to allow them to pursue a career path in sciences.
